Juniors are running out time for 1st Priority internships! On November 13th, Juniors can turn in their internship requirements.
“It would be an advantage to have 1st priority,” said Mrs. Nyree. If Juniors feel prepared, they can turn in a resume, cover letter, and the portfolio approval sheet on echo by November 13th. Once it's submitted, you cannot edit or resubmit.
Some Juniors feel prepared for being 1st priority. “I'm somewhat excited for my internships because I'm almost completed the task, I need to do my cover letter,” said Andrew Sanchez.
Many Juniors have their resume and portfolio but need to complete their cover letter. “Cover letters helped the companies know things about you and the resume goes in depth with what you said in your cover letter,“ said Mrs. Nyree. First priority internships means you would get a higher chance on having the internship you want, and maybe they would pay you for all 45 hours.
All Juniors have different places they would like to intership at. “I would like to get a internship at OC Register for journalism,’’ said Pamela Paredes, a Junior.
”I would also like to get an internship that has mechanical or engineering,” said Andrew Sanchez. Well Juniors hurry before it's too late to have 1st Priority! Sophomores be thinking about next year because the year goes by fast. Go Firewolves!!
