The clock is ticking, the miles are being crossed, and there’s nothing stopping this runner from crossing that finish line to thunderous applause. Would you join the Guitar Club? The Guitar Club’s creator is Nathian Soto, who is a junior here at Samueli Academy. In this club, you get to learn how to play the guitar. They meet during lunch on Tuesdays and Thursdays, or after school on Fridays, in room 15. You have a chance to learn from someone who has experience with guitars. The club’s founder comes with experience, and wanted an outlet at Samueli for his interest “This school doesn’t have enough time to play guitar... so I made a club for it,” said Nathian, which is why he made the club.

Mr. Sheppard never seems to have a typical day. “ For Athletics, I am calling schools, coordinating games, scheduling referees, checking students’ grades... every day seems to be different, whether it is a game day or preseason, or even right now, since we’re in the transition of seasons.” He works hard everyday to get things done; that is the way he works and he will always be like that.

Delicious smells of food flowing through the wind. Burritos getting eaten by students. Tickets being sold for food. Posters advertising the different foods clubs have. Mouths getting watery for all the types of food there are. Long lines waiting for their stomachs to be fed. Nacho cheese filling tortilla chips!
Club members were advertising and promoting their clubs during the week of September 12-16 at Samueli Academy Campus to inform our fellow students about the different clubs that we have by participating at food day, selling some delicious foods!
