Will or When will they get back together from their hiatus?
One Direction the famous British, Irish boy band ( Three of the boys are British while only One is Irish) went on a hiatus back in January of 2016. It made many Directioners (what One Direction fans call themselves) sad to see their favorite boy band take a break. But after six or more years straight of tours, performing, and making music it must make them tired.
So the four boys of 1D- Zayn left the band back on March 25th, 2015- decided that they finally needed a break from it all. So what are the four boys doing now? Well each of them are trying a solo career and are doing very well. Niall Horan has an Album- Flicker- coming out on October 20th and he is on tour debuting them. Harry Styles has his own Album- Harry Styles- and is on tour now. Liam Payne has two songs out Strip that Down ft. Quavo and Get Low ft. Zedd and he is also performing this song as well on stage. And Louis Tomlinson also has two songs out Just Hold On with Steve Aoki and Back to you ft Bebe Rexha and he is performing these songs. So as you can see and tell these 4 boys are doing very well on their own.
How are the fans taking the news? Are the boys of 1D getting back together soon? Are they getting back together at all? People ask these questions and some gave answers. Leila Pozzi gave her answer as a One Direction fan and said, “It would be great if they do but as solo artists, they are successful on their own.” Or as also said by Ms. Somoza, “They are very popular as a band and people would miss them.” Sean Rodriguez was also asked his opinion about this topic as a non-1D fan and he said why they wouldn’t get back together, “Because they have their own lives and are successful without each other.”
When the 1D bandmates were interviewed separately and asked if they were going to get back together they all said yes they would but never mentioned when. Niall Horan stated in an interview, “"I told my managers from the start: When One Direction comes knocking, [forget]what I’m doing. I don’t give a [crap] if I sold out arenas or won Grammys. I wouldn’t be doing this if it wasn’t for that," Niall said to Billboard J-14. Louis Tomlinson also states, “"I think it was obvious to everyone that we were always five best mates on the road; it was really nice. And as time went on, we all began to understand each other. There are often misconceptions, but we're all such good mates," Louis said to Noisey. "If you look at the X Factor final, when I performed my song with Steve, all the boys came to support me, and I didn't know until a couple of hours beforehand. It wasn't one of those stupid celebrity things where it's like, 'let's all get a picture and put it on Instagram and show everyone that we're best mates' — we didn't even put it online. There are always those little things that people don't hear about."”Harry Styles states to J-14 , “"I love the band, and would never rule out anything in the future. The band changed my life, gave me everything," Harry said to Rolling Stone. "Maybe at some point, everyone will want to do something again but it's better if it happens naturally like, 'Hey we all really want to do this again.' If that were to happen it would be amazing. I would never rule that out. It's the most important, the greatest thing that ever happened to me, being in that band," Harry said. "The nice thing for me is that I'm not coming away from the band feeling like I wasn't able to do what I wanted to do.” Liam Payne states his opinion about when they will get back together, "I think we need to come back as a whole. It's like the Avengers, you shout and we all come running, that’s what happens," Liam said to Dan Wootton in his Bizarre Life podcast.” In J-14 Zayn Malik also states his own opinion when asked even though he is not in the band anymore, “"I can honestly say I’m proud of a lot of stuff from the One Direction days. I’m not sure people realize that, but I am," Zayn wrote. "I’ve got the memorabilia – the platinum discs we received with every album – all over my house. I have a wall dedicated to displaying them. One Direction was an incredible experience in its own right, and it’s a part of me, an integral part of my history, and I’m never going to deny that aspect of my life." At the end of the day, they're simply brothers forever. No matter what.”
So what do you think will, One Direction be getting back together or not? It’s all up to them and what they want to do with the rest of their careers. I Believe that they will get back together. What do you think?
