Everywhere you go, you witness someone with some type of Apple device. This has become such a common thing around us, we either see, iPods, iPads, iPhones, and so on.
Apple electronics seem to be a big deal. With some many different uses, it’s obvious why most people would have them. They offer great quality cameras, varieties of apps you can enjoy, and much more.
It all started on January 9th, 2007, when Steve Jobs, began with an iPod. As the years approached, he began developing generations for each individual one of the electronics, he designed. He started with an iPod scroll wheel, which then lead to iPod Mini (2nd generation) and a more advance iPod touch and finalized with the iPod touch (6th generation).
That was the same case for the iPhones, they started off very simple and began developing into something more advanced so that everyone can enjoy. It began with the iPhone 2g, which went on until it got to the iPhone 6 or iPhone 6 plus, and it is said that there will be a new iPhone , in the upcoming year.
This iPhone promises to bring a software upgrade, in which will prevent the battery from dying quickly and better sound quality. An insider said that they are planning to replace the headphone jack with a second speaker and according to the Apple Company this will give the iPhone 7 stereo audio for the first time in history!
As for now, there is no release date. For now, they are mainly focusing on different utilities that will benefit us. They are taking in consideration the little problems that people have faced with previous iPhone generations.
At Samueli Academy, we also witness students with all type of iPhone’s, from the 4th generation to 5th and of course the 6th . They all seem to enjoy them, but they all had something to say when it came to what they could change. Rocio Gomez, the school counselor, said “ Maybe longer battery life would be better”
As for the students , Iridyan Jimenez, a junior said , “ I would want them to make a waterproof iPhone, to resist water. For example, my phone kept falling in the toilet and sink.”
Jennifer Medina, a junior as well, seemed to agree with Ms. Rocio, she states , “I would change how fast the the battery dies.”
Ashley Santos, another junior , had another big point, she tells me,“I would improve the screen so when you drop it it won't crack fast.”
I personally agree with all of the above, I don’t own an iPhone, but if I did, I definitely would want my phone to have a longer battery life and stronger phone screen. We will just have to wait and see, about the upcoming iPhone 7.
