As you can see K-Pop industry is very different than our music industry. In the KPop industry groups or bands are not created like in America. In America usually a group of people start a band and they grow popularity by doing different jobs and using their own money to gain popularity but most kpop groups are made by music companies.
In Korea they set a debut date for the group and the music company send little trailers of the people in the group so the fans will get pumped up. The people in the group will practice hourly each day until the perimeters day ,their debut day.
In these companies the people in the groups of to sign contracts to certain agreement. The agreements might very like one contract they might make you have plastic surgery or they can’t have a boyfriend or girlfriend at that time. It might be bad like you can’t see your family like a long time. Also the people in the group have to pay the company back how much money the company invested into the group.
