Zootopia is a movie where animals from every environment live together in a place where no matter what you are, from the biggest elephant to the smallest animal, you can be anything you want to be.
From the creators of Frozen, Wreck-it-Ralph and Big Hero 6. Zootopia is amazing and this movie has a message in it. Not only does it have a message in it, it also contains a lot of comedy and there is an all star voice cast.
The two main characters which are Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde are played by Ginnifer Goodwin, who stars in the television series “Once Upon A Time” and Nick Wilde, who stars in the hilarious movie “Horrible Bosses.”
“One of the film’s great strengths is the trust it puts in its young audience to decode it’s complex, nuanced message about the value of difference,” said Robbie Collin from Daily Telegraph.
Zootopia is based on Judy Hopps, who is a bunny and her dream since she was small was becoming a cop so she would be able to help people. Her parents Bonnie and Stu Hopps were afraid of the dream that she had because they didn’t want her to get hurt. Her parents always told her that her dream wasn’t possible for her to reach because she was just a bunny.
As time passed Judy is all grown up and she has successfully become the first rabbit cop. When she starts working all of the other cops underestimate her because she’s small and she’s a bunny that can’t do anything. Therefore, Chief Bogo, head of the police department assigns her parking duty and in that time she didn’t know that she would have to partner up with Nick Wilde, a fox with a big mouth and a lot of opinions to solve a case.
“I loved this whole movie, it really shows how a friendship is created and how it happens so unexpectedly,” said Emma Neubauer, Santa Ana Resident.
This movie was written from writers of other Disney hits. Jared Bush, Rich Moore, and Phil Johnston are the writers and directors of this movie. This movie has had one of the biggest hits. Zootopia surpassed Frozen’s U.S. box office record with $73.7 million in just its first week of being released.
The characters in this movie really address important matters and they are exactly who you would expect them to be. Zootopia rally emphasizes the idea that you can be anything you want to be no matter who you are or what they tell you. Throughout this whole movie you’ll be feeling emotion. You’ll be laughing, crying, surprised, and have your heart warmed.
“This movie was like a real life event that happens all the time. Overall, I think that this movie was one of the best ones I've seen so far and it is so funny. I totally recommend that you go see it,” said Tatyana Rodriguez, Santa Ana Resident.
If anything is possible in Zootopia then anything is possible anywhere.
